Areas of darkened patina spread across the copper dome, interrupted by lighter worn patches near the lower edge. The hemispherical shade directs most illumination downward, keeping the upper shell comparatively dim during use. Hammered metal thickens the structure, so the fixture hangs steady without sway when air shifts. The interior retains a warmer copper tone that reflects light back toward the opening.

Each piece is shaped in short runs by a small bench team, and their hand pacing shows in slight differences along the rim line and hammer spacing. With time, exposed high spots brighten from handling while recessed marks deepen in tone.

As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
