The wide hammered brass shade spreads outward in a low, irregular dome, its rim bending gently into a wavy edge. Subtle hammer marks remain visible across the surface, breaking the reflection of light and giving the metal a softly mottled tone. Along the outer edge, a band of green patina has begun forming where the brass darkens toward oxidation. Suspended over a table or kitchen surface, the broad profile directs a single pool of warm light downward while the underside reflects a muted glow.
The fixture sits horizontally in space, reading as a thin metal disc rather than a deep shade. Each piece is handled in small metalworking batches, so the hammer pattern and patina edge shift slightly from one pendant to another as the brass continues to age.
As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
