Story

A sharply sloping profile distinguishes this copper pendant light, with a high central neck that descends in a broad cone toward a wide, nearly level rim. Repeated hammered depressions cover the exterior, creating a rippled pattern of highlights across the reddish-brown metal. The shade's straight, widening contour contrasts with the cylindrical copper-toned holder and its textured collar, which connect to a black suspension cord. Along the lower edge, the exposed interior has a brighter orange-copper appearance, with visible indentations that reflect the bulb's light.

For indoor use, the open shade directs illumination primarily downward, making it suitable above dining tables, kitchen islands, or work surfaces. The hammered pattern varies in depth and spacing, producing small differences in reflection across the canopy. Handling and ongoing exposure to air can gradually darken sections of the copper and alter its surface coloration.
