Tapering from a narrower top into a wide, angled rim, the shade forms a conical profile that opens outward in a clean, continuous line. The copper exterior carries a visible shift in surface tone, with darker areas concentrated near the upper section and a green oxidized layer spreading across the lower half. This transition follows the slope of the form rather than creating a straight division, giving the surface a layered appearance when viewed from different angles.

Suspended above a table or work surface, the broad opening directs light downward in a defined spread. Variations in oxidation depth and surface marking differ across each piece, and the copper will continue to change gradually as its finish responds to exposure over time.
