Sweeping outward from a narrow top section, the conical silhouette widens steadily toward the rim, creating a form that emphasizes breadth without adding visual weight. Across the upper half, exposed copper reflects light through a field of clearly visible hammer impressions, producing a surface that shifts between brighter highlights and darker recesses. Below this area, a band of deepened tones transitions into a green oxidized zone that wraps around the lower perimeter in an uneven, textured pattern.
The generous diameter extends well beyond the bulb beneath it, allowing the shade itself to dominate the visual footprint. Oxidation density, hammered texture, and tonal boundaries differ naturally from one example to another, and exposed copper sections often develop additional contrast through years of handling and environmental exposure.
