Two vertical suspension rods support the elongated oval canopy of this pendant light, giving its profile a balanced, architectural appearance. The copper exterior has a distressed surface with irregular brown and bronze areas interspersed with green patina, creating an uneven distribution of color across the shade. Its gently sloping sides converge toward a raised central section, while the narrow lower edge follows the oval outline. Beneath the canopy, the open underside accommodates the light sources and directs illumination downward across the surface below.
The elongated form suits indoor dining tables, kitchen islands, and extended counters where light is needed across a wider area. Rather than presenting a uniform metallic finish, the surface displays scattered oxidation marks and tonal differences that remain visible from end to end. With continued exposure to air and handling, the copper may develop further darkening and changes in patina.
As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
