The copper surface displays a layered mix of darker upper tones and green oxidation concentrated around the lower portion, creating a soft transition that wraps continuously around the form. Fine variations within the patina produce areas of lighter and darker coloration rather than a uniform finish.
Installed beside an entrance, pathway, or exterior facade, the broad opening directs light downward beneath the shade while leaving the exterior surface largely unchanged by illumination.
