Curving outward in an off-center arc, the shade forms an uneven dome that dips slightly lower on one side, giving the profile a directional tilt rather than a balanced symmetry. The copper surface carries a layered mix of darker base tones and scattered pale oxidation, creating a broken pattern that shifts across the curvature instead of following a fixed boundary. Fine surface working remains visible beneath these patches, interrupting reflections and producing a fragmented sheen.

Suspended above a surface, the opening casts light downward in a contained spread while the outer shell stays visually subdued. The irregular distribution of oxidation and tonal contrast differs across each piece, and the copper will continue to change gradually as exposure alters its surface character over time.

As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
