The rectangular basin is formed from hammered brass with a wide, flat rim that sits flush to surrounding stone or wood surfaces. The squared corners and straight walls create a deep, usable sink cavity that handles everyday rinsing and prep without splashback pushing over the edge. In daily use, the hammered interior breaks up water flow and helps hide minor water marks between cleanings. The brass surface gradually deepens in tone in areas of frequent contact, especially around the drain and along the lower wall panels.
Small-batch workshop pacing means each sink shows slight differences in hammer pattern density and rim texture. Over time, handling and water exposure continue to darken high-touch zones, while less-used areas retain a brighter brass tone.
