Story

The wide, flared brass dome forms a low, sheltering profile that hangs close over a table or counter surface. Its reflective metal skin mirrors windows, walls, and movement in the room, so the appearance shifts slightly as the space around it changes. The curved shade directs the bulb downward in a single, concentrated spread of light beneath the rim. Brass reacts naturally to air and handling, and the surface gradually settles from a bright gold tone toward a slightly deeper color where it is touched or exposed over time.

These pendants are finished in small workshop batches, where a few makers handle each piece individually, which leaves minor differences in reflection clarity and tone from one lamp to the next. With regular use, areas of the brass slowly darken and soften as the metal ages.

As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
