The four-sided copper shade tapers outward from the wall plate, forming a broad lower opening that pushes light down and slightly forward across the surface beneath it. The exterior copper has already shifted into a deep green surface layer across much of the shade, while areas of warmer copper remain visible along edges and seams. Inside, the metal stays brighter, reflecting a concentrated downward beam when the bulb is lit. Because the shade flares outward, rainwater sheds easily and the opening stays clear for outdoor placement near entrances or walkways.
These fixtures are assembled in small batches by a compact workshop team, and the copper tone varies from piece to piece. Over time, outdoor exposure slowly deepens the green areas while uncovered copper edges darken further.
