A wide copper dome projects outward on a straight brass arm, forming a low horizontal shade with a strong, disc-like silhouette. The metal surface shows a distinct band of green oxidation across the midsection, where the copper has reacted with exposure, while warmer copper tones remain visible near the neck and outer rim. Beneath the shade, the interior metal reads smoother and more uniform, reflecting light downward rather than outward.
The round wall plate and gently curved arm keep the structure visually balanced against a flat exterior wall. Across the dome, the oxidized area appears irregular, with darker speckling and uneven edges that shift across the surface. With continued exposure to air and moisture, copper areas slowly darken and the oxidized band can broaden or change tone over time.
