The cylindrical copper body presents a distinct horizontal band of green patina across its center, with deeper brown copper tones remaining at the top and bottom. Mounted against an exterior wall, the enclosed form casts a controlled downward beam, concentrating light directly beneath the fixture while shielding glare from above. Outdoors, the copper will continue to react to air and moisture, gradually deepening in tone and expanding the contrast between green and darker areas.
Each unit is finished in a small workshop where a limited team handles batches individually, so the width and edge definition of the green band varies from piece to piece. Over time, exposure will further darken the lower rim and soften the transition between copper and green.
