The wide domed shade spreads outward before tapering to a narrow top collar, giving the copper body a low, stable profile when suspended. Its thickness keeps the form steady so it doesn’t sway easily when air moves. Light exits mainly from the open underside, concentrating illumination below while the upper shell stays darker.
The blue surface shows irregular cell-like patterning that shifts in density across the metal, a result of small-batch finishing handled by a tight workshop team. Over time, raised areas gradually deepen in tone while edges near the rim develop warmer copper highlights from handling and cleaning.
As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
