A wide, flared metal shade hangs low over a counter-height surface, with a dark, irregular surface that shifts between brown copper and soft green areas. The interior lip shows bare copper tone, which reflects light downward in a focused circle for table or island use. The form keeps glare out of sight while concentrating brightness on the surface below. The surface finish is not uniform, so two pieces will never match exactly, especially around the rim and shoulder where color breaks appear strongest.
These shades are handled in small workshop runs, where pacing and individual handling naturally produce slight differences from one batch to the next. Over time, exposed copper tones at the edge can deepen and darken with air and touch.
As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
