Story

The enclosed cylindrical shade hangs as a solid metal form, punctuated by two narrow bands of square cutouts near the top and base. The body is copper, its surface shifting from warm brown tones at the upper section into a darker band before settling into a green patina near the lower edge. When lit, the perforations release small points of light while the solid metal sides keep most illumination directed downward over the table surface. The cylinder shape concentrates the beam and reduces side glare, which works well above dining tables, kitchen counters, or work surfaces.

Each shade is handled in small batches by a tight workshop team, so the transition between dark copper and green oxidation develops differently from piece to piece. Over time, the green areas continue to deepen and slowly spread across the lower section.

As with all handmade pieces, each lamp is unique. Subtle variations in texture, finish, and detail are part of its character and reflect the hands that shaped it.
