A broad conical shade gives this wall sconce a distinctly architectural profile, with its copper surface covered in visible hammered impressions and bordered by rows of small circular marks along the panel seams. The upper collar flares outward beneath a raised copper cap, while a curved brass-toned arm carries the fixture back to a round wall plate with concentric detailing. Inside the shade, the copper surface shifts to a brighter reflective tone, directing the exposed bulb’s light downward and onto the wall below.
The open lower rim makes the fixture suitable for exterior walls where directed illumination is useful around entrances, covered terraces, or walkways. Variations in hammer marks, copper coloration, and surface darkening can occur across individual pieces. With exposure and handling, the copper can gradually develop deeper tonal changes and further surface oxidation
