A broad, flattened dome extends outward from a narrow top, creating a low horizontal profile that sits close to the space beneath it. The copper surface shows a dense hammered texture across the lower section, while the upper area transitions into a green oxidized layer that spreads unevenly across the metal. This shift between exposed copper tones and darker green areas forms a visible boundary that does not follow a straight line, giving the shade a varied surface reading from different angles.
Positioned above a table or counter, the wide opening directs light downward in a contained field. Differences in oxidation and hammering appear from piece to piece, and the surface will continue to evolve as the copper reacts gradually to its environment.
