The wide, flared metal shade spreads outward from a narrow neck before opening into a broad dome that concentrates light over the surface below. Its exterior carries a pale blue painted finish that has already worn through in scattered patches, exposing darker metal beneath and creating irregular breaks across the surface. The interior rim reveals raw copper, which gradually deepens in tone as it is exposed to heat from the bulb and everyday air. Hung above a table or counter, the broad form directs illumination downward while the deep shade shields the bulb from view.
Each piece passes through the hands of a small workshop team, so the worn areas and exposed metal edges shift slightly from one fixture to the next, and the copper interior slowly darkens with regular use.
